Kling Motion Control Guide

Master the 6-step workflow to create cinematic AI videos with precise motion control using Kling and Higgsfield.

6-Step Workflow

Step 1

Take the Reference Shot

  • Take a screenshot or still frame from the video where you want motion control.
  • Pick a frame with clear face + body pose (very important).
Step 2

Go to Nano Banana

  • Upload that screenshot.
  • Replace the character with your desired character / face.
  • Make sure:
  • - Face alignment is clean
  • - Lighting roughly matches the original frame
  • Export the final image.
Step 3

Open Higgsfield → Kling Motion Control

  • Head to Kling Motion Control inside Higgsfield.
  • Upload:
  • - Your Nano Banana image
  • - The original video
Step 4

Select the Replacement Window

  • Choose 1–2 seconds of the video you want to replace.
  • This is the sweet spot:
  • - Too long = breaks realism
  • - Short = cinematic + controlled
Step 5

Lock the Motion

  • Let Kling extract motion from the original video.
  • Apply it to your Nano Banana character image.
  • Keep prompts minimal:
  • - "Preserve original motion"
  • - "Maintain camera movement"
  • - "Realistic body dynamics"
Step 6

Generate & Blend

  • Generate the shot.
  • Kling automatically blends:
  • - Camera shake
  • - Head movement
  • - Body motion
  • If needed, regenerate once for cleaner edges.

Pro Tips

Sweet Spot Duration

Keep replacement windows to 1-2 seconds. Too long breaks realism, short clips stay cinematic.

Face Alignment

Ensure clean face alignment in Nano Banana. This is critical for seamless motion transfer.

Minimal Prompts

Use simple prompts like "Preserve original motion" and "Maintain camera movement" for best results.

Regenerate for Quality

If edges look rough, regenerate once. Kling automatically blends camera shake, head, and body motion.
