Create your script-writing skill in Codex

Build a repeatable reel format instead of writing every script manually. In Codex, open the skills area and create a skill called "Reel Script Writer" with a Hook, Body, and CTA structure.

Write a short Instagram reel script in a clear, viral, simple style. Start with a strong hook, explain the topic using first principles, avoid jargon, and end with a CTA asking people to comment a keyword for the link.

Use Codex to find the content idea

Use Codex as your research assistant to fetch trending news, then turn it into a script with your saved skill.

Example prompt
Fetch the latest AI or tech news from TechCrunch. Pick one story with viral potential for creators, founders, or developers. Summarize it simply. Then use my Reel Script Writer skill to turn it into a short reel script.

Generate the voiceover using ElevenLabs

Take the script to ElevenLabs and turn it into a professional voiceover in your own cloned voice — removing the daily audio-recording bottleneck.

Generate the AI avatar video using HeyGen

Take the same script or generated audio to HeyGen and create a talking-head video with your cloned avatar — your face, your voice, your script, without manual recording.

Generate B-roll and supporting visuals

A talking-head video alone feels flat. Ask Codex for image prompts based on the script, then generate cinematic B-roll: AI dashboards, founders on laptops, robots, futuristic setups, news-style graphics.

Create text animations

Create text animations for the strongest lines in your reel using tools like Hyper Frames, adding visual emphasis around key moments.

Push everything into CapCut

With all raw assets ready — script, voiceover, AI avatar video, B-roll images, text animations — ask Codex to organize and edit the first draft inside CapCut.
